"Whatever was, is. Whatever will be, is. That's how it always is with God." Ecclesiastes 3:15
I am amazed when I think of the people in history, that they could possibly be just like us, a people with a heart that want to know and follow God. I truly believe history is being written here at our Camp...waiting for us to follow the Voice of the Spirit. There are Testimonies to be created, Campers waiting to say that they want to follow Jesus with their life, hearts that are longing to be healed and even some that will hear the good news for the first time. As we pray and serve at Camp...we are a part of history that is yet to be written.
Praise
We praise God that Staff Training week was 'Supernal'...there was one evening that was really blessed where many of the staff shared their testimonies of the journey of how they arrived at Camp this year and how they sense the Calling of the Lord on their lives to be here at this time.
This week is Nova, ages 8-11 years old. Directors are Ryan Tyrell and Stephanie Lambert. Our Pastor is Lynda Zane. Our Camp Nurse is Joyce Huizinga. Please pray that God would specifically lead, blessing them with wisdom and discernment.
Without hardly a Blink...our generator turned on when the power went off for 2 hours around Lunch-time. We loved the fact that we didn't have to worry about the Water room or the fridge and the Dishwasher still worked...thank-you Lord! ! Our first cabin of boys moved into Wyldewood (New Cabin). It has turned out so nice, we are all very excited about the generosity of so many people to make this happen. The cabin is insulated and the walls are all pine boards...it looks like a cabin in the woods! The Wingers and Martins have arrived and are all settled in. We praise the Lord for how they are fitting in. Ernie Giles is here taking the campers out sailing.
As God is calling you to pray and watch...and some who are being called through the night to pray...'the watches of the night'...I encourage you that God is answering. "Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin"...Lam.2:19
