Applicants for both Crew and LIT should be aware that these are very popular programs.  The camp will begin notifying successful applicants after March 15, 2010

The New Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

Most of you are aware that Canada Revenue will be introducing the HST on services provided after July 1, 2010.  As of now, our understanding is that any registrations that are paid in FULL BEFORE May 1, 2010 will receive pre-HST tax rates (3% RST + 5% GST).  Any registration that has any part of the invoice paid on or after May 1, 2010 will be sibject to the new 13% HST.

In an effort to minimize the impact of this tax increase, Camp Kahquah has limited its fee increases this year.
